PUBLIC CONSULTATION PROCESS

A key aspect of the independent review is to ensure that a public consultation process exists so that the various concerns of key stakeholders are taken into consideration for the final report. This public consultation process shall consist of the following:

1. Interested parties submitted relevant comments and/or observations about the issues outlined in the Terms of Reference for the independent review to the following email address [comments@independentfootballreview.com] within the deadline of 23 March 2006. In so doing, it was acknowledged and agreed that such comments and/or observations may be published on this website or generally made available to the public unless you indicate otherwise. Click here for a list of the comments and/or observations that we have received to date.

2. A public consultation hearing with the participation of the Chairman of the independent review took place in Brussels at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel on 29 March 2006 (beginning at 10:00 until 14:00 non-stop). Those who represent a stakeholder of European football or who were simply interested in the subject matter were invited to participate and/or speak at this public consultation hearing via the following email address [consultation@independentfootballreview.com] by no later than 23 March 2006. A list of those who attended will be available here shortly.

3. One-to-one meetings will be arranged between the Chairman of the independent review and key stakeholders of European football and politics. Click here for a list of the bodies that have been invited to arrange a one-to-one meeting with the Chairman.
